Female Urethral Stricture

Female Urethral Strictures are a rare cause of slow flow in women. Other symptoms of urethral sticture in women may be pain in urethral passage, need to change position during voiding, feeling of incomplete urination and repeated infections.
Causes of urethral stricture in women can be urethral infection, aggressive urethral dilatation, pelvic radiation. Because they are treatable (urethral dilatation is the first line tretment and urethroplasty if the stricture keeps coming back), they have to be clearly identified with investigations like video urodynamics, MCU and Urethro-cystoscopy.
